EBATES: Don't shop online without it!

Do you ever shop online? Do you use ebates when you do shop online? If you answered "yes," then great, you can skip over this post. :) If you answered "no," then keep on reading because this is information you don't want to miss out on!

Here's how EBATES works:

1. If you don't already have an ebates account, then sign up for one. It is free to sign up.

2. Any time you are shopping online, first log into your ebates account and search for the website/store you are planning to shop at.

If the site/store you are looking for pops up, then click on it to see what % you will earn back on your purchases and to see if there are additional discount codes, free shipping, etc.  For example:

When you click on "Shop Now," it will open a new window and take you to that shop. You will then shop as normal.

If you think you'll forget to log in to ebates before shopping, they have made it easy for you. You can add the ebates to your toolbar and it will automatically pop up a notification if you are viewing a site that offers ebates.

3. Quarterly, ebates will either mail you a check or deposit in your PayPal account the money you have earned back. You also earn money by referring friends.

Right now there are several places offering double the cash back for back-to-school purchases so be sure to check those out. The best one I have seen is 10% back from TOMS plus free shipping, plus $10 off $65 purchase --- I love my TOMS! {I'm really hoping they will add Baylor to their college collection!}

**As with any coupon or discount, it's really only a good deal if you were going to buy it anyways. It's not that great of a deal if you buy something just because it's a "good deal" because you'd be better off saving your money in the first place. BUT, if you were going to make the purchase anyways, you might has well save a little money and/or earn a little money back.**
